Installing the Froli under-mattress system for the bed

Water tank fitted. Fuel filter moved. Chassis attachments fitted. Internal masking started.  It's all happening!

The hand-made windows have arrived and are in the process of being fitted.

The roof is on, and we can get a feeling for spaciousness inside the canopy now. The roof height is really good!

Side panels are now attached, so it's starting to look more like a canopy.

The steel grid on which all the other parts will hang has been completed.

After playing around with a few layouts, we have settled on a reasonably generic format of bathroom up the front, table and benches in the middle and a full size bed up the back.

This started out life as a 425L diesel tank....

The chassis has to be able to flex a little, so it cannot be bolted directly to the canopy, as flexing the canopy will crack the fibreglass wall sheets.

These make my Defender tyres look puny.  And boy - are they heavy!!
